I consider this first-gen set to be the <a href="https://www.techradar.com/best/the-best-noise-cancelling-headphones-in-australia-for-year">best ANC headphones</a> right now, owing to the fact they’re a lot more affordable, and that the ANC performance difference isn’t all that huge compared to their newer sibling.
