Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data is collected by Blerbz and how it is used. It applies to two products with distinct scopes:

BLERBZ.com (Website)

  • No account or login is required to read news.
  • Analytics — We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous page-view and performance data (pages visited, device type, country). No personally identifiable information is collected.
  • Local storage — Theme preference, saved stories, and feed settings are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
  • Cookies — Only first-party cookies required for site functionality (e.g., theme). No third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
  • Engagement data — Clicks, views, and shares are recorded anonymously to power the BLERBZ100 ranking algorithm. No user identity is attached.
  • AI features — Queries to Focuz and ARTEMIZ are processed in real time and are not stored or linked to a user.

BLERBZ App

  • No account or login is required to read news.
  • Device data — The app collects anonymous device type, OS version, and app version for crash reporting and compatibility.
  • Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics (screens viewed, feature usage) are collected to improve the app experience. No personally identifiable information is collected.
  • Local storage — Preferences, saved stories, and offline cache are stored on-device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it.
  • Push notifications — If enabled, a device token is stored to deliver notifications. No personal data is included in the token.
  • No sale of data — We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.

Shared Across Both

  • We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
  • We do not serve behavioral or targeted advertising.
  • All data processing occurs on servers hosted in the United States.
  • We retain anonymous analytics data for up to 26 months (Google Analytics default).
  • You may clear all locally stored data at any time through your browser or device settings.

Terms of Use

By using BLERBZ.com or the BLERBZ App you agree to the following terms:

BLERBZ.com (Website)

  • Content — Blerbz aggregates and links to news published by third-party sources. Headlines, summaries, and rankings are generated algorithmically. Blerbz does not author original news reporting.
  • Accuracy — We aim for factual, zero-bias presentation. Rankings are algorithmic and explainable. We do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party content.
  • AI-generated content — Focuz entries, ARTEMIZ outputs, and AI video broadcasts are machine-generated and may contain errors. They should not be treated as primary sources.
  • Availability — The website is provided “as is” without warranty. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
  • API usage — Access to the NUCLEUZ developer API is subject to rate limits and requires an API key. Commercial use requires prior authorization.

BLERBZ App

  • Content — The app provides the same aggregated news content as the website. Third-party source links open in your device's browser or in-app browser.
  • Offline access — Cached content is available offline but may be outdated. Rankings and engagement data update only when connected.
  • Push notifications — You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
  • Availability — The app is provided “as is” without warranty. We may release updates that change functionality. Older versions may stop working.
  • App store terms — Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the platform you downloaded it from (Apple App Store or Google Play).

Shared Across Both

  • You may not scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content without written permission.
  • You may not use the platform to distribute malware, spam, or misleading content.
  • Blerbz reserves the right to block access for abusive or unauthorized usage.
  • These terms may be updated. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Content Policy

Blerbz does not produce original journalism. All news content is sourced from third-party publishers via their public RSS feeds and APIs. Blerbz provides:

  • Algorithmic ranking and curation (no human editorial decisions)
  • AI-generated summaries, topic tags, and video broadcasts
  • Direct links to original source articles

Children's Privacy

Blerbz is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no account creation is required, no age data is collected.
